Dr. Johnny Chung earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University and his Doctor of Medicine from UMDNJ, New Jersey Medical School. His residencies in both General Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery were performed at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Dr. Chung has additional training in Asian Cosmetic Surgery from the Taipei General Veterans Hospital in Taiwan.

After serving as an Associate with a practice in New Jersey, he joined Aesthetic Surgery Associates. Dr. Chung is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgery and the Lehigh County Medical Society.

Dr. Chung is a Clinical Professor of the Physician Assistants program with DeSales University in Center Valley, PA and a Clinical Attending with the Plastic Surgery residency program at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA.

Dr. Chung has traveled to Thailand with "Healing The Children," where he performed surgery on young children suffering from severe burns. Dr. Chung also corrected congenital deformities on children born with cleft palates.
