Male Breast Reduction
Although rarely discussed, gynecomastia (male breast enlargement) is a relatively common condition. Gynecomastia affects approximately 30 to 40 percent of men. Although there has been some correlation with various drugs or medical conditions there is no known cause.
Men who feel self-conscious about their appearance are helped with breast reduction surgery. The procedure removes fat and glandular tissue from the breast, and in extreme cases excess skin is removed, resulting in a contoured chest that is flatter and firmer.
